If your application does demand a specially designed component, we can provide complete design, assistance when choosing the proper material and prototype services. When submitting requests, please don’t forget to include all relevant information.

  • What ist the function of the part? Function sketch?
  • What operation conditions are expected? Nrmally and exceptionally?

    • In what temperature range must it operate?
    • Abrasion resistance required?
    • Tension, shear, compression forces?
    • Will it be exposed to oil, gas or chemicals?
    • Will it be exposed to sunlight, ozone, oxygen?
    • Resistance to corrosive chemicals required?
  • What tolerances are permitted?

  • What color, surface, finish is required?
  • Where are tool split lines preferred and is a level of flash permissible? (width, height?)

  • Material? Hardness? Food graded material required?
  • Quantity/Rates? This can be important to know for tooling design?
